Dixon is a city in northern Solano County, California, located 23 miles (37 km) from the state capital, Sacramento.
It is in the heart of California’s wine country, where you’ll find many vineyards and producing counties. It has a hot-summer Mediterranean climate on the Köppen classification scale that makes it perfect for entertaining all year round. Dixon Fruit Market is the perfect place to get your fruit fixed. The UC Davis Arboretum and Public Garden is a place where visitors can come to enjoy more than 100,000 plants from around the world. And, if you’re looking for a great Mexican restaurant in town, look no further than Mr. Tacos. Personally one of my favorites!
